Sigtryggur Baldursson and Birgir Mogensen met as kids in Kópavogur. Decades later, still friends, they started making music together under the name Paddan. Baldursson is best known as the drummer for the Sugarcubes; Mogensen has spent years working across Iceland's experimental and electronic scenes. What they've built together sits somewhere between krautrock repetition and open-air ambience, live instrumentation folding into electronics until the seams disappear into mist over magma.
